On Friday night we were asked to babysit the kids cousins Johnathan and Kimberly. We had a pizza party and watched Ice Age 3 that night. On Saturday I had Johnathan plan a treasure hunt. He did the hiding and drawing up of the maps. The rest of the day the kids kept making their own treasure hunts.
Johnathan is telling Ellora how to read his second map. Which was found in the play house. The maps turned out to be quite confusing. It didn't help that it was a white page with a bunch of lines to follow ---------- and no landmarks. So he was getting frustrated when she wasn't following it perfectly.
I had to get a picture of his gun. Grandpa made all of the grand kids guns during the family reunion. Which they all love, especially Riley. If you look closely to Ellora she asked grandpa for a sword as well and it's tucked in her skirt.
Oh wait is that the treasure in the burn pile? I'm not sure if that was the best idea, thankfully grandpa was gone and couldn't burn it during the hunt.
dishing out the bags of candy. I took Johnathan and Kimberly (cousins) to the store and they picked out the candy. They got a chocolate variety and some very colorful Twizzlers.
They were told to say arrrrr and look piratey.
Also this week we went on an hike to see a waterfall and had a delicious dinner with some extended family from Idaho. It was nice to see and talk with them.
On the way to the hike we passed some cows and Riley said "Look there are some mooos"
