In the beginning of September we decided to take the kids to the lake for some fun. Well the lake was full of people and so we turned around and headed home. Since it was an hour drive there and an hour drive home we figured we should at least reward the kids for not complaining. So we bought them DQ it was the first time the kids had been introduced to it.

Ellora got mint oreo blizzard
Tyler got Snickers blizzard
Jason got an oreo blizzard
and I got a strawberry cheese cake blizzard

Thank goodness for the mini blizzards or we would have had a lot of left over ice cream.

Since it was such a big hit Jason decided to do Daddy/child dates monthly with each kid. So this will be their tradition from now on. They each have had their date this month and came home feeling something special.
